Hi there! I get a lot of questions from people who would like to pick up crocheting. I want to give some tips that has helped me during the times where I was new to crocheting and I was experimenting a lot.
Rule # 1: You do not have to crochet with a fancy hook set or yarn. Amazon or your local craft store can provide you with a great hook and yarn.
Rule #2: Know your yarn weight! You do not want to grab the thinnest strand of yarn and start crocheting with it as a beginner. Please start with at least a medium weight(4) yarn.
Rule #3: Watch the youtube video! If you do not have someone to teach you, youtube will be your teacher & that is okay!
Rule #4: Watch the video in full before picking up your hook & yarn. This will help you understand what you are doing and how to practice.
